Registered Society · Delhi · All India Working
Working towards the social, educational, and economic empowerment of communities in the Hilly Areas of India — with no barriers of caste, creed, or religion.
JUGTI is a registered non-profit society dedicated to the welfare of rural and economically-backward communities native to Hilly Areas across India. We believe every person deserves access to education, livelihoods, and cultural pride — regardless of where they were born.
"We work so that people do not have to leave their mountains to build a dignified life."
A multi-pronged approach to community upliftment — tackling education, livelihoods, health, and cultural preservation all at once.
Running schools, coaching centres, scholarship programs, and vocational training institutions to empower children and adults alike.
Scientific consultation for farming, horticulture, animal husbandry, and promoting cottage and Khadi industries for self-employment.
Medical camps, blood donation drives, hospitals and dispensaries, and financial aid during natural calamities and personal distress.
Creating opportunities in native Hilly regions so communities can thrive without leaving their homes and heritage behind.
Preserving dialects, customs, traditions, and arts of Hilly India through events, publications, and community programs.
Orphanages, widow homes, aid for the elderly and disabled, marriage support, and relief for those in financial hardship.
JUGTI's aims span across education, healthcare, livelihoods, culture, and community development — guided by a commitment to non-discrimination and transparent governance under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
Facilitate education and employment within native areas so families can remain rooted in their communities.
Document and spread the customs, traditions, and dialects unique to the Hilly regions of India.
